I'm thrilled to learn that Larry Hammer (
lnhammer) has just self-published his all-new verse translation of the classic anthology One Hundred People, One Poem Each (first compiled by Fujiwara no Teika in the 13th century). I've read Larry's translations of the Kokinshû and other poems on his journal with pleasure; he's a sensitive reader and interpreter, and I'm looking forward to reading the paper book.
If you're interested in classical Japanese poetry, I urge you to check the book out. (Further information available at the link.)
