My Kyoto life, resumed

I'm back in Kyoto for two and a half months studying classical Japanese at the Kyoto Center for Japanese Studies, which since I left Japan in 2008 has moved to Doshisha University, where I did my Fulbright Fellowship. It's all very natsukashii, and I'm truly happy to be back in Kyoto, which will always be one of, as they say, the cities of my heart. To cap things off, tonight while searching the web for things to do this month I found my feature in Cafe C.Coquet's journal from last time (February 2008): 



I brought that same jacket back with me this time. It's great to be, in some sense, home.
