Housing! also, Sirens 2010
Jun. 26th, 2010 23:25I have secured the housing situation, a furnished room in a house, that I was hoping for, and I'm very excited and relieved. Hooray, no spending a fortune at Ikea! Hooray, a house with housemates who sound cool! Hooray!
Also, I registered and bought my plane and shuttle tickets for Sirens 2010. (Ironically, the shuttle cost was 2/3 that of the plane tickets, but it was still cheaper than flying to Vail.) I will be appearing on the panel "Are There Faeries Outside Western Europe?" with Shveta Thakrar, Cindy Pon, and Valerie Frankel, which should be pretty cool (and so should the conference, for that matter!).
