I returned to Berkeley yesterday after a week-long trip to Seoul, Tokyo and Shanghai where we successfully advanced some important new partnerships that will benefit our campus.

Somehow, what amazes me the most about that statement is that he seems to believe that telling people about his (totes all work and no play!) university-paid trip to three foreign countries is going to make people more understanding of his position.

Also, I can indeed confirm that YouTube still works in Japan at the moment.
